The nuragic village of ‘Su Nuraxi’ is a Unesco-protected property, recognised as a World Heritage Site since 1997, a mysterious complex of stones dating back more than 3,000 years and where time seems to have stood still. You will feel the breath of history as you explore corridors and chambers that once witnessed ancient civilisations. After being transported back to the 13th century B.C., you will be taken to the Giara di Gesturi highland, a microcosm where nature reigns supreme and where the last wild horses of Europe have taken up residence. If you are lucky, you will meet these tiny inhabitants, who live free and undisturbed in their timeless habitat.
