Ovan and Marije, originally from Kurdistan and the Netherlands, left behind careers in fashion to follow an extraordinary path that changed their lives forever. Seven years ago, fate led them to Italy, more precisely, to the wild heart of Sardinia, in a village called Ollolai, where they bought a crumbling house for just one euro and transformed it into a welcoming guesthouse. What began as an adventure turned into a lifestyle rooted in hospitality, art, and purpose. Today, they open their doors to guests from around the world, sharing not just a space, but a way of living.

The warmth and authenticity of Sardinian culture stole their hearts, showing them that this was the place to truly put down roots.
From the very beginning, Ovan began kneading stories and flavors into his dishes, learning the secrets of pasta-making from the grandmothers of the village, ancient knowledge passed down quietly, hand to hand, through flour and memory.

His cooking is more than food, it’s a love language. An invitation to slow down, to listen, to connect.

Inspired by traditional Sardinian pasta shapes like malloreddus and culurgiones, Ovan will guide you on a creative journey through iconic varieties like mezzalune, ravioli, casoncelli, and more, transforming each dish into a one-of-a-kind creation.
After the workshop, you’ll sit down to enjoy a 3-course lunch or dinner crafted with your own handmade pasta, enriched with vibrant sauces and seasonal vegetables designed to bring every flavor to life.
